The Embassy of Mauritius in Germany
Travel Document
The Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius does not issue a replacement passport. However, we are able to issue a travel document for a single journey to Mauritius with the authorisation of the Passport and Immigration Office (Mauritius). To obtain a travel document please submit an application to the Embassy along with the following documents:
- report of loss from police
- copy of passport
- National Identity Card
- birth certificate
- certificate of residence (Aufenthaltserlaubnis)
- 2 photographs, and
- 15 EURO
Note:
Since a travel document may only be issued upon authorization from the Passport and Immigration Office in Mauritius, the time frame for processing such an application may take 1-2 weeks.
